Positive Aspects

1. Flagship-Level Big.LITTLE CPU

The Exynos 8895 features four custom Exynos M2 high-performance cores paired with four Cortex-A53 efficiency cores, delivering strong overall performance for demanding applications and multitasking.

2. Powerful GPU and Multimedia

Equipped with a Mali-G71 MP20 GPU and support for up to 4K at 120 FPS video capture/playback, it offers capable graphics and high-quality multimedia performance.

3. Advanced Connectivity and Efficiency

Built on a 10 nm FinFET process and integrating a gigabit-class LTE modem, Exynos 8895 delivers improved energy efficiency and fast LTE speeds in flagship devices like the Galaxy S8/S8+.

Negative Aspects

1. No Integrated 5G Support

Despite being a flagship SoC of its generation, the Exynos 8895 does not support 5G, limiting connectivity to LTE (Cat.16).

2. Older GPU Architecture

The Mali-G71 MP20, while powerful for its time, is based on an earlier Bifrost generation and lacks newer performance and efficiency improvements found in later GPUs.

Device information for this processor will be available soon. We are working on collecting data about smartphones and tablets that use the Samsung Exynos 8895.
